The Cryptic Adventures of Creepy Snake

Egg and shit.

Creature concept: Cockodile. These gluttonous monsters can scale walls with ease and travel underground through self-made tunnels. They will feed on anything alive, and average from 4 to 7 metres in length; the darker ones being the largest.Seemingly docile while among their own kind, the cockodiles grow in size and strength when prey is sighted. They also begin to ooze rock-melting acid.A more potent form of this venomous fluid is stored in their acid glands, located in their buttocks. Cockodiles are known to flush out their prey in the climax of battle, liquifying them in preparation to be eaten.

Wanted to try some land/skyscape. With the initial idea of a couple staring at a meteor that’s about to destroy the world, I ended up with somewhere between alien visitor and you know who in the garden of you know what.

I wonder what about children’s book illustrations make them so. Is it simply the lack of detail and use of bright colours? What is it inside us that changes when we grow, that makes us crave for more detail– for less to be in our heads and more to be in front of our eyes?Is it laziness, or fear of our own thoughts?

Since this is a blog, and not a portfolio, ALL WORK MUST GO UP.
Even if it sucks massively.

This is a pretend advertisement for the 2004 film Van Helsing. I procrastinated for too long with the shooting and realized that my figurines were NOT going to work as I wanted them to. I tried to compensate for the crappy animations with all of my AfterEffects skills.

I couldn’t overdo the compensations, because this was mainly a claymation project.
I got a letter grade C.
I am sorry Van Helsing, please forgive me.

School work. Geometric Blazer made with 60+ sheets of paper glued on 1 white t-shirt.It looks a lot better in person. I wish I could say the same about myself.I apologize for the terrible stance. P.S. My teacher picked my product as teh best out of all her students and is keeping it for some obscure reason. YAY ME!
